What AI automation actually means for your business
Forget the hype. AI automation is not about replacing your team with robots. It is about taking the boring, repetitive work that nobody wants to do (and that nobody is doing well at 11pm on a Saturday) and giving it to software that can do it consistently, instantly, and at any volume.
The breakthrough in the last few years is that the underlying models (the GPTs, the Claudes, the Geminis) are now good enough at understanding plain English and structured data that you can build real, production workflows on top of them. Not chat toys. Workflows that take phone calls, qualify enquiries, and write to your CRM without anyone touching a keyboard.
Customer enquiries
A trained AI assistant answers the same forty questions you get every week, instantly, on your website or over the phone. Anything it cannot answer is escalated with a full transcript.
Lead qualification
Inbound enquiries are scored, sorted and routed automatically. Hot leads land on a salesperson's screen with the context already filled in. Tyre-kickers get a polite reply.
Bookings and reservations
An AI phone agent answers calls out of hours, takes bookings, and writes them straight into your booking system. We do this today for Red Tower Storage with Stora.
Document processing
Invoices, forms, contracts and intake documents are read, validated and entered into the right system. With Willbert we even generate full legal documents from a conversation.
The honest answers to the obvious questions
Is it reliable? If it is built properly, yes. We use grounding, confidence scoring and human escalation so the AI never has to guess.
Will it hallucinate? Modern models can, which is why we constrain answers to your real data and add validation layers. The cowboy answer is "trust the model". The real answer is "engineer around the model".
Is my data safe? Yes. We use enterprise endpoints with no-training agreements, and for sensitive workloads we host on UK or EU infrastructure you control.
What we build
Six things we build well, in production, today. Not on a slide deck. Not in a future roadmap.
AI phone agents
Answer every call, twenty-four hours a day. Qualify the caller, take a booking, capture details, and hand off cleanly to a human when needed. Built on the same technology that powers Attendi and the Red Tower Storage deployment.
AI chat assistants
Helpful chat that knows your products, your prices, and your policies. Lives on your website, WhatsApp, or inside your support tooling. Grounded in your real content so it does not invent answers.
Document processing
Invoices, intake forms, contracts and PDFs read automatically and pushed into your accounting, CRM or case management system. Validation and human review built in for the things that matter.
Lead qualification workflows
Every inbound enquiry scored, enriched with public data, and routed to the right person with context. Stop your sales team wading through forms. Give them only the leads worth calling.
Content generation pipelines
Product descriptions at scale, structured legal drafts, programmatic landing pages, internal reports. Generated from your data, reviewed by humans, published only when ready.
Custom AI integrations
Connect AI to the tools you already pay for: HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Stora, Zendesk, Slack, your in-house systems. Real engineering, not no-code glue that breaks at the worst time.
Built by the team behind Attendi and Willbert
Most agencies talking about AI right now are wiring up a ChatGPT prompt and calling it transformation. We are the engineers who actually ship production AI products, with real users, real money, and real consequences if it goes wrong. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Attendi
An AI-powered business communication platform we designed, built and run. Twenty-four hour AI phone agents, AI lead qualification, and unified multi-channel lead management across phone, web and email.
What it proves: we operate AI infrastructure at production scale. We handle the calls, the transcripts, the integrations, the failure modes. This is not theory.
Willbert
The UK's first AI will-writing platform, available on the web and over the phone. Uses NLP to turn a normal conversation into a legally sound will, with compliance validation built into the pipeline.
What it proves: we can build AI for regulated, high-stakes work. If we can generate a legal document that has to stand up in court, we can probably handle your enquiry form.
Red Tower Storage
A self-storage company with an AI phone agent we built and deployed. It takes booking enquiries twenty-four hours a day, qualifies the caller, and writes the booking into Stora, their CRM, automatically.
What it proves: we deploy real AI for real businesses, integrated with the tools they already use. Not a demo. Not a pilot. A working system taking calls today.
Twenty-plus years of senior engineering
Every project is led by a senior specialist. No juniors learning on your budget. We treat every client (household name or challenger brand) with the same craft and care.
How we build AI automation
Four steps. No theatrics. We start with the problem, not the technology.
Discovery
We sit down with you and find the actual problem. Where is the time going? What is the repetitive work? Where do leads fall through the cracks? We do not start with the AI, we start with the bottleneck.
Design
We pick the right models and tools for the job. GPT, Claude, Gemini, open-source: each has its strengths. We design for security, data residency and cost from day one, not as an afterthought.
Build
Senior engineers write production code in modern frameworks (Astro, Next.js, Laravel and the AI orchestration layer above them). Tested, version-controlled, and deployed properly. Not a fragile no-code chain.
Monitor
Every interaction is logged, scored and reviewed. We tune prompts, retrain retrieval, and route low-confidence cases to humans. AI systems are not "set and forget". Ours improve every month.
Security, compliance, and trust
Building AI for a UK business means thinking carefully about data, regulation and what happens when something does not go to plan. Here is how we handle it, by default, on every project we take on.
GDPR by design
Data minimisation, lawful basis, retention policies and subject access requests handled properly. Not bolted on after launch.
UK and EU hosting
For sensitive workloads we keep your data on UK or EU infrastructure, on providers and regions you approve in writing.
Confidence scoring
Every AI response carries a confidence score. Below the threshold, it stops, asks a clarifying question, or hands off. The AI never has to guess.
Human in the loop
Clear escalation paths so a human takes over the moment something needs judgement. Logs and transcripts make hand-offs seamless.
No training on your data
We use enterprise endpoints with explicit no-training agreements. Your data is yours. It is not absorbed into anyone else's model.
Auditable logs
Every prompt, response and decision is logged. If you ever need to know what the AI said, when, and why, the answer is one query away.
"We needed a 24/7 phone presence without hiring a 24/7 team. Dynamics deployed an AI phone agent that handles bookings, answers questions, and integrates directly with our Stora CRM. Customers don't realise it's AI. It paid for itself within months."

Frequently asked questions
Honest answers to the questions every business asks before committing to AI automation.
No. The right way to think about AI automation is that it removes the repetitive work nobody wants to do anyway: answering the same questions for the hundredth time, copying data between systems, qualifying tyre-kickers at 2am. Your team gets to focus on the conversations and decisions that actually need a human. Every system we build has a clear escalation path so a person can take over the moment it matters.
Accuracy depends entirely on how the system is built. We use confidence scoring on every response, so when the AI is not sure, it either asks a clarifying question or hands off to a human. We ground answers in your real data (not the open internet) using techniques like retrieval-augmented generation, so the AI can only answer from sources you control. That is the difference between a production AI system and a chatbot bolted onto a website.
We design for it. Every workflow has logging, human-in-the-loop review, and a fallback path. If a phone agent cannot understand a caller, it offers to take a message or transfer. If a document processor is not certain about a field, it flags it for review instead of guessing. You see exactly what the AI did, what it was confident about, and where a human stepped in.
No. We use enterprise API endpoints from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic and Google with data processing agreements that explicitly forbid training on your data. For sensitive workloads we can deploy open-source models on UK or EU infrastructure so your data never leaves a server you control. We will tell you exactly where your data lives and who can see it before we write a line of code.
A focused project, like an AI phone agent for bookings or a document processing pipeline, typically takes four to eight weeks from kickoff to live. Larger custom builds (the kind of work behind Attendi or Willbert) take longer because they involve real engineering, integrations, and testing. We will give you an honest timeline after a discovery call, not a sales pitch.
It depends on what you are automating and how much of it you want us to run for you. Smaller automations start in the low thousands; production systems with phone agents, integrations and ongoing optimisation are priced project by project. We do not publish made-up package prices because every client is different. Ask us for a written quote and we will be straight with you about cost and ROI.
